February 7, 2009: PSI Honors Key Contributors at First Annual Awards Ceremony

On the evening of Saturday February 9, Parietal Systems held its first annual awards ceremony and dinner at the Boston Museum of Science. The festivities were intended both as a "thank you" to the PSI team for their efforts that have led to the company's rapid growth since 2002, and more specifically, to recognize several outstanding individual and team achievements that best exemplify PSI's core values. This year, two awards were presented:

2008 Outstanding Team Performance: The outstanding team performance award is given to PSI teams that have best demonstrate teamwork, technical excellence, and customer focus. The 2008 award was presented to the PSI Simulation team for their work in concurrently developing three new simulators, fielding these simulators at a number of sites across the world, providing on-site support throughout multi-week exercises for two concurrent exercises, and then installing the systems at multiple customer sites. The 2008 Simulation Team consisted of Mr Adam Bailey, Mr Garry Fountain, Mrs Susan Lynch and Mr Hal Maney.

2008 Innovation Award: The PSI Innovation Award is given in recognition of new ideas or methods that have significantly impacted PSI's business. In 2008, this award was given to Dr. Robert Washburn for his contributions in advancing the state of the art in applying spatial scan statistics to sensor data mining.
