Parietal Systems is pleased to announce the award of a Phase I SBIR contract that will allow us to develop a novel set of techniques for discovering relationships in noisy geo-spatial data.
The product of this research will be a family of tools that will help users to find spatial relationships in sensor data orders of magnitude faster than is possible with current manual processing. The technology produced by this effort will have immediate application to help detect IED fabrication facilities, weapon caches, strongholds, etc. and thus benefit military, homeland security, and law enforcement. Since the technology is not limited to MTI data, but is capable of using other types of time series data (e.g., RFID, video, motion detector, transaction data, etc.), it could also be used to discover linkages for other applications (e.g., marketing, financial analysis, etc.).
Parietal Systems , a privately held firm in North Andover, MA, provides engineering support services and technology development for the United States government. PSI's focus is on the development and fielding of information technologies requiring the development of sophisticated mathematical solutions.
